Lois lives in a circle of mountains in the Baviaanskloof, in a cob house built by herself and partner, Geon.

Lois writes the Astrology data in the Renaissance mag and various small publications.

She has extensive experience with working with the Mayan calendar and has created the ‘Mayan Spiral Game’, a tool, to learn and apply the ancient mayan wisdom.

Lois, as a healer, is a reiki master and works with indigenous herbs. She is a traditional healer and teaches the local people about the benifits of the medicinal plants in the area. She is involved in community projects with the people of the nearby village called Zaaimanshoek, a project called “Textures of Africa”. They recycle and decoupages old magazines, boxes, tins and plastic bottles.
